Robyn's Story
For Robyn Burwell, owner and artist behind Rebel Dove Design in Abilene, Texas, flowers are much more than just a decoration. They are the keepers of our most cherished memories. They tell our stories of love, loss, celebration, faith, family, and legacy.
Robyn’s passion for floral artistry is deeply rooted in her childhood. For as long as she can remember, gardens overflowing with vibrant flowers, fresh vegetables, and lush, colorful plants have been a central part of her life. She spent her childhood summers alongside her grandparents, who were both avid gardeners and some of the most amazing people she has ever known.
It was out of a desire to honor their legacy that Rebel Dove Design was born. Robyn created the studio to capture that same color and joy, transforming real blooms and natural elements into personal, intentional, and lasting artwork.
Today, Robyn specializes in handcrafted real flower and resin artistry. Through Rebel Dove Design, she takes the fleeting beauty of life’s biggest milestones and preserves them so they can be treasured for generations. Whether it’s preserving the radiant joy of a bridal bouquet, honoring a loved one with memorial jewelry infused with funeral flowers and ashes, or memorializing a cherished horse with mane clippings and horseshoes, Robyn handles every piece with profound care and sensitivity.
